Kennet Shopping is not a proper name for a place - a business yes, but not a place.  To me Kennet Shopping is the company managing the Kennet Centre.

Just looked at their (new?) website and we are all half right. It is Kennet Shopping Centre. Ah well, learn something every day.

Interesting thing is the "Free Parking in Newbury" section. Seems like we've been taken up on our suggestions.
