Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a robbery in Queens Road, Newbury on Saturday 7th August.

Sometime between 7.30pm and 8pm a man was walking in the underpass near Burger King when a man walking towards him pulled a large kitchen knife out from under his top and said “give me all you have got”.

The victim handed over his iPod and mobile phone and the offender made off towards Burger King.

The offender is white, 5ft 5ins to 5ft 10ins, medium build, in his late twenties to early thirties with a scruffy beard. He was wearing a dark brown coloured scarf.

Anyone with any information that could help police with their investigations should contact Det Con James Woodcock at Newbury police station via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505. If you do not want to talk to the police, call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
