Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after an altercation in Newbury Market Place, in the early hours of Monday 26th July.

At around 2am, a fight broke out in the area of Market Place and a woman was assaulted. Police arrived and arrested two women.

A 19-year-old woman from Newbury and an 18-year-old woman from Thatcham were arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and bailed to appear at Newbury police station on Wednesday 18 August.
