Yes I saw that as well, it was bin day and it was flying low over the bin route. There is some sort of logo on the other side, I can't quite make it out.....
What else do you need to know apart from it is an AH-64D Apache. The D varient signifies that it has the longbow radar system as you can see above the rotor blades.

There is a family who live in a house near the top of Slanting Hill. This house is used as a marker by the Chinook boys as they fly over. They fly over it very low indeed. The roof is vibrating off and cracks are appearing under it. Said family complained. They have complained and complained and complained. Eventually, after over a year, they finally got an 'on site' meeting with the Military and local councillors. It was agreed that some of the damage 'might' indeed be caused by the vibrations. The Military held the view that no compensation would be forthcoming as we were at war, and some families had made the ultimate sacrifice, this family should consider themselves lucky and it was a small price to pay to help Our Boys.
I understand that our M.P. has now been asked to see what he can do.
We live outside Newbury, but still the Chinooks and assorted helicopters buzz us daily! I only hope none of them ever fall like stones from the sky - they come over so low we can sometimes see the windows etc...and they rattle our doors. In our house (as was said in the first remark,) we know this area as Helmand Province.

My onlt suggestion is that they come from Middle Wallop, home of the Army Air Corps
When the Air Base was manned way back, they used to put up copters in the middle of the night.. I wrote to the Base Commander and complained, and it was stopped immediately inside the hours of 8.00PM and 8.00 AM.He actually wrote to me to apologise!
for the sake of keeping the effectiveness of the IR suppressing paintwork, there is little in the way of markings distinguish these aircraft. All stencilling is black but very faint, and in addition to the low-visibility "Army" titles and roundels on the boom, serial numbers are worn on the fin.
I can't quite make out anything on the tail in your photos so it's hard to locate the squadorn and therefore place where this particular aircraft is based. Nonetheless given the location of Middle Wallop in relation to W. Berks and the fact that I've noticed an increase in Army Lynx helicopters over Newbury/Thatcham I would guess that they've started a new course.
Probably not a lot of point contacting the Army Air Corps about this because all training is carried out by a PFI company called Aviation Training Internation Ltd (ATIL). Ok, it will be of interest to the Army but they typically want the training to be as effective as possible but they also want to be good neighbours and that's got to be a fine line to tread.
ATIL have a web site http://www.atil.co.uk where they give contact details if you want to understand why they are using the area around W Berks for low flying training.
Some of the best ways of getting low-flying aircraft excluded and get a prohibited zone declared is to be a farmer with live stock that are upset by the noise.
It could be Prince Harry - he's been posted to Middle Wallop - we got William in his Chinook pounding over here on his way to his girlfriends house to some practice short field landings in her father's garden.
