Still like the guitar..Changed your mind yet....please...just what I am looking for!
Sorry Dodgy, but it's the last electric I have left. At one point I had the following - Les Paul studio (stupidly heavy), Standard US Tele, Ibanez JS1000, SRV signature series Strat (my favourite), and the guitar pictured, which is probably not what you're looking for anyway, as it's a pretty standard Tele which i have fitted with 52 reissue pickups and wiring, so it's not original from the factory.
Anyway, I can't see myself being in the postition to buy anything new any time soon, and I'm happy with the sound from the tele, so it as to stay put.

You had some good gear in the past and if the Tele sounds as good as it looks, can't blame you for hanging on to it....you know I'm here if you change your mind!
Coming up to xmas, I'm sure a bit of extra cash would help...sell me that Tele!!!!!
Haha! Nice! The extra cash would be nice. But like I said before, it's not really a Tele in the conventional sense in that it's been chopped about a bit, so isn't as is from the factory. Plus it's got a bizzare action that I'm still getting used to since putting the new bridge and nut on over a year ago. It's also the guitar I bought with my first pay packet, so it's about 15 years old. It's a Frankenstein's monster of a guitar.
It sounds like you have a collection. Are you a collector, amateur gigging muso or professional?

Understand what you are saying. I was in a group for 6 or 7 years in the good ol 60's, but then along came girlies and beer etc..We broke up unfortunartely..It wasn't untill around 5 years ago I yearned the need to relive some of those memories and started buying guitars that I had always wanted as a teen. I now have 12, much to my wife's disgust, and am always looking for a good buy to add to my pot. I only play for my own amusement now but it's what I want and can now afford it, so I do it!
