I think, sorry know, it was initially called The Crafty Raft Race, but as they say....There's nothing more certain than change! Was that quiet enuf? Sorry once more but it wasn't the Library I was in, it was Smiths Christ where have all those years gone? Can anyone remember what the question was?

You are quite right of course...there is and so is there a subtle difference between an egg and a banana, but that still does not answer my question....

Oh Brian what are u like? But pray tell me why it would include the word 'Crafty'? A Crafty raft is a raft craftily assembled etc..etc A crafty egg brings a lot to the imagination, but not quite within the scope we are talking..agreed? No need for change.. A crafty Raft says what it does on the tin!! And am I meant to know what or who the f--- GMR is or isn't????
speaking as someone who entered the very first Crafty **ft race in 196*........objections were raised by D.I.Y. enthusiasts,who built rafts of sorts,but were well beaten in the race by professional looking,much more expensive "boats"....so rules were made the following year and I think Judges were called on to see fair play........?
