As I understood it, the C.V gets you the interview, but you get the job (or not) within the first 30 seconds of walking in....

Yes, it does probably get you to the interview, but what a lot of time is wasted on no hopers that have used your so called proffesional CV writers..when no one has that time!!!!!!!

Not so. A CV is just a list of facts.. slightly skewed ones perhaps, but there shouldn't be a "personality" evident in a CV. If there is, the writer is almost certainly a dork. A letter of application is something else.


A letter of application should depict something about that person, If he is a Dork,whatever that is, it will soon be recognised by his/her presentation!!
