Admin.Dozens of showbiz jobs are up for grabs as open auditions to work at Haven holiday parks come to Reading on Wednesday (Jan 20). Haven Holidays, which has 35 caravan parks around the UK, is seeking to fill a total of 150 positions as singers, dancers and presenters for the summer season. It is the first time the company has come to Reading to fill vacancies and it is hoped scores of young people wanting to get a break in a showbiz career will come along. The auditions, being held at Reading FC, Madejski Stadium from 10am, are part of the biggest ever showbiz recruitment drive by Haven which is looking forward to what the company hopes will be another bumper season after a record year in 2009. Anyone wanting to take part should prepare two songs and come ready to join in some choreographed dancing. The auditions begin at 10am and Haven bosses say they are looking for "bright, bubbly personalities" who can deliver top quality family entertainment throughout the season.
