Could people *please*stop posting pictures of such excessive width that all other posting have to follow it, with the result that text goes off the screen, which was what happened to LocalRes's contribution earlier today?

anniejohn's peculiarly-coloured picture of the Market Place was 1725 pixels wide, which is ridiculous. Most computer monitors have a resolution of around 1024 to 1200 pixels in width, and I think that photos should comply with the former size.

Are you listening, Admin?

The first parts of the Kennet Centre had already been built over the Plenty's site - the dreadful block south of the Catherine Wheel and the shoeshop is there in the picture.
