I don't recall all the houses in Park Terrace or Park Lane being empty.
Perhaps your knowledge of Newbury geography isn't as good as you'd like to think, hence these silly outbursts from you?
I had thought of that, but my main point is still that dispersal orders are fine for the residents of Park Terrace, but not for Northcroft Lane? Either they work or they don't. If they don't (as we've seen at the retail park), the police should stop promoting them as a solution.

I agree, it's only moving the problem on to somewhere else. They should solve the real issue, these kids have nowhere fit for purpose to go.
I'll look forward to it. Especially if it's going to show the majority of motorcyclists, as you have alleged.
I second that. Brewmaster has apparently had a vendetta against motorcyclists for many years & is well known for it in the area in which he lives. However as in all walks of life it's the odd few that spoil things for all concerned, unfortunately he seems to be convinced that he is right. I wonder would he agree then that quite possibly the majority of lovers of real ale are over the drink / drive limit when they get behind the wheel !!!
In a way, I am but TVP know that they won't get anywhere, the CPS will not proceed with this sort of difficult to prove case. I would think that the best option would be for some sort of legislation which would enable the old bill to refer suspect vehicles for safety checks to DVLA testing stations for examination with a copy of the report being sent to the vehicle owners insurance company. The Mot test itself is not designed to weed out noisy vehicles but it is not unknown for a car to be presented for Mot with a proper exhaust and catalytic convertor thus getting it a pass on emmisions etc and then within 24 hours the kit has been removed and the old straight through system replaced.
Easy - just stick up a few signposts pointing towards the disused airfield behind Membury services.

Seriously though, money can be spent moving them on to another area on, only for the residents of wherever they end up to complain or money can be spent giving them somewhere to go.
The latter seems much more cost effective in the long run.
